DSR Weekly News: Celebrate Friendly Fires’ 15th Anniversary with Ticket Giveaway at HERE at Outernet

Denmark Street Radio (DSR) is excited to announce that Friendly Fires will be performing a series of celebratory shows this month, including two dates at HERE at Outernet on the 23rd and 24th of February. The band will also be playing at Norwich Waterfront and Hull Welly this spring.

To celebrate the 15th anniversary of their self-titled debut album, DSR is giving away two pairs of tickets to this SOLD OUT Friendly Fires concert at HERE at Outernet. To enter, either to enter to give us a like, share, follow and comment and tag the person you’d take to the show on our Instagram http://www.instagram.com/denmarkstradio/ – or simply email studio@denmarkstreetradio.co.uk with the names of the band members before midnight on Tuesday 21st. The lucky winners will be announced shortly after.

Friendly Fires’ eponymous debut album was released in September 2008 and went on to achieve critical and commercial success. The band said, “‘Friendly Fires’ only peaked at a modest #38 in the album chart, but momentum grew via the word-of-mouth of our small crew of proactive fans, and eventually we had a hit on our hands. So next year, we’re going to be getting out there and doing a special show to celebrate this, both for us and for the fans who made it a success.”
