Phatt Tuesday 24th of Jan 2023 Launches with a Bang as DSR’s ‘The Morning Jam’ Hosted by Bull Harding goes Live from The Lower Third!

Denmark Street Radio (DSR), dedicated to promoting and celebrating the vibrant music scene on Denmark Street, will officially launch on Tuesday, January 24th 2023, with a lineup of exciting new shows and live performances. Our new morning show, “The Morning Jam,” hosted by Chris and Nick, aka Bull Harding, will kick off the day with a live performance by Pearz, interviews with Pearz, David Beer of Denmark Street Heroes and Legacy, and Iris Berkeley of Jet Set Underground.

Other shows on Phatt Tuesday include: “Denmark Street Heroes” with David Beer, showcasing his vast knowledge of the British music scene from the 60s to the present day, with a David Bowie Special. “Jet Set Worldwide” with Iris Berkeley, bringing a funky and eclectic mix of soul, synths, psych, sexy beats and more, with vintage vibes and new releases in equal force.

Frankie Francis will host “Amazing Afternoons,” bringing listeners the best of the Amazing Radio music schedule accompanied by excellent banter, interviews, guests and more. Si Baker will present “Psychedelia,” featuring a deep dive into psychedelia, afrobeat, hip hop and 70s funk. And, “Tonk Radio” with Bull Harding will bring you the hottest honky tonk hits, straight to your speakers, with special guests telling you the stories you don’t already know.

As a special treat, UK nu-jazz duo Vertaal have recorded an exclusive take over show for DSR to celebrate the launch of the station. Vertaal, who have gained a dedicated following with their album Paradigm Shifting on Amazing Radio, will be showcasing their new music and their unique blend of nu-jazz for DSR listeners.

In addition to all these exciting shows, DSR’s new merch store will also be coming online, offering fans a chance to show their support and represent their love for the station.
