Over 20 years ago Brian started a little shop at 55 St Giles High Street. We soon outgrew our first home and moved to 20 Denmark Street in 2003 – the same building where Elton John got his first job as a tea boy back in the Sixties! Today, we have found our home at 5 Denmark Street, right in the middle of this legendary music hotspot.
Wunjo on Denmark Street in Central London is far more than just a guitar shop. Packed full of the best from the world of new, used and vintage electrics, acoustics and basses, we stock the world’s leading brands such as Fender, Gretsch, Rickenbacker, Guild, Takamine, Maton, National Resophonic, Hofner, Orange and Duesenberg, to name but a few.
Fantastic boutique effects brands including Zvex, Death by Audio and Tech 21 sit alongside firm favourites like Boss, Electro Harmonix and JHS in our pedal cabinets.
We also have a penchant for the unusual and quirky, lesser known vintage gems. You’ll find a host of folk and country instruments like banjos, ukuleles, mandolins, lap steels and even the odd banjalelelin lurking around the shop. Our warm welcome has earned us the reputation as the friendliest guitar shop on Denmark Street… if not the world!
