Alright, wonderful people, here’s some news that’ll make your ears prick up and your musical hearts leap with joy. This coming Tuesday, 20th June, our very own Dean Austin is set to commandeer the airwaves of Denmark Street Radio, in a glorious full-day marathon of his beloved show, EQUALISER! And we’re not just talking about a couple of hours here, folks, we’re talking dawn to dusk, and then some.

EQUALISER, which has been rumbling along for a solid 9 episodes now, is about to hit a milestone. And what better way to celebrate than by playing every single episode so far, back-to-back, throughout the day? It’s a kind of musical feast you don’t want to miss!

But hold onto your headphones, because there’s more. The day will also feature some delectable bonus treats. There’s a special episode shining a spotlight on the soundtrack of a music documentary that Dean co-directed with the talented Ben Sommers. This particular masterpiece focuses on the band Archive, and trust me, it’s a real auditory adventure.

And as if that’s not enough to keep you glued to your radios, we’ve got Lisa Cherryshoes joining the fray. You’ll know Lisa as the phenomenally talented figurehead of Cherryshoes, and as a vocalist for Archive. She’ll be bringing along a few of her all-time favourite tracks, a mix of old and new and fresh hits.

You’ve probably heard Lisa’s sultry voice introducing the EQUALISER jingles. Well, Dean thought it was about time she had a spin on the decks, and we couldn’t agree more.

So, dear readers, clear your schedules for this Tuesday, and let the eclectic beats of EQUALISER be your soundtrack for the day. Tune in and immerse yourself in the music. Trust us, it’s going to be a ride. Tune in – 2 am till Midnight
