English singer-songwriter Nate James has made a name for himself in the music industry. His debut soul album “Set the Tone” released in 2005 earned him two MOBO nominations for Best Newcomer and Best R&B Artist, propelling him to the forefront of the soul music scene. He released the album under his Frofunk imprint through independent labels worldwide, becoming one of the most successful independent soul recording artists globally.

With over 1 million albums sold and airplay hits in both Europe and Japan, Nate’s success continues to soar. He won the Festivalbar in 2006, an Italian summertime singing contest that took place in major Italian city squares, including the Piazza del Duomo in Milan. In 2007, James won the Urban Music Awards’ Best Album (Kingdom Falls) and Best Neo-Soul Artist.
