Pearz Set to Take Over DSR with Eclectic Mix on April 11

Denmark Street Radio (DSR) is excited to announce that renowned music producer and DJ Pearz will be taking over the airwaves for a special 2-hour mix session on April 11th at 10 am.

This one-of-a-kind event is not to be missed, as Pearz brings his unique blend of multiple genres to the DSR audience.

Recently, Pearz shared his passion for creating music and collecting records in an exclusive interview. When asked about his inspiration, he explained that expressing his feelings through music has always been a driving force. With a love for soul and groove, Pearz takes influences from a diverse range of genres and artists, with a particular fondness for powerful bass lines.

Pearz’s creative process begins with laying down an idea on the piano or bass and looping it until he finds the perfect layers to complement the track. His ultimate goal is for listeners to lose themselves in the groove of his music, experiencing a wide range of emotions.

While Pearz acknowledges the complexities and challenges of the modern music industry, he believes that timeless music will eventually be discovered and appreciated. He is hopeful that the future of music will see better regulation for artists’ rights on streaming platforms and continued support for musicians through merchandise sales, particularly vinyl records.

After his DSR takeover, Pearz has a busy schedule ahead. He will embark on a tour in Morocco alongside London-based band Baby Vanga in May, with stops in Essaouira (May 4th), Casablanca (May 5th), Rabat (May 6th), and Tangier (May 7th). Following the Moroccan tour, he will open for Os Mutantes in Paris and Guilford at the Boiler Room in July. He also plans to return to the studio to work on his first full-length album.
